A basket strainer drain can be used for sinks installed without a garbage disposal unit and the strainer keeps food debris clear of your plumbing. It will fit a 3 1/2" sink drain hole (kitchen sink standard). Here's the collection of our basket strainer drains that you can check.
If your sink is extra thick (as with some fireclay sinks) you may need an extended basket strainer drain. An extended drain fits the deeper drain hole as it has an extra-long ferrule to accommodate the thickness of some fireclay sinks.
